Well, I live in the other "T" for Tennessee. It's hot and humid here in the good ole summertime, but my M-60s don't tax the AC as much as my ARC VT-150SEs did. Part of this, I think, is due to the open chasss style with no cage to heat up and radiate. Anyway, if you have AC (and surely in Houton you must) you'll be OK.
