HELP!
I've been auditioning a few SE & OTL amps (A-S included)and am wondering if anyone can tell me why the SE amps sound a little richer than the OTL's. Is it coloration (distortion) i'm hearing in the SE, or does the OTL circuit sound a little more threadbare in general?I'm confused --i'm drawn to the SE sound, but don't want an amp thats too colored,and the OTL sounds a little thin to my ears - which is right???
