I am considering buying some used M60 monoblocks but do not have the ability to hear them with my speakers.
I have a pair of Snell E.5s that have a nominal impedence of 4 ohms and that drop down to 3.2 ohms at some points. They are 90db efficient.Would anyone have any advice regarding how well they would work with the M60s as I assume they, like all OTL amps, don't work well into a low impedence load. In particular, I would be concerned if there was any reduction in bass or accentuation of mid-highs as these speakers are very revealing and the tonal balance is a little on the thin side.
Please Help!!
