Synergy is the key. Sometimes you need it a
touch more hyped, other times a touch more darkened.
Cap changes are a cheap, powerful tweak to the
system, better than cable swaps, as you undoubtedly
found out.I went to Hovlands from the Rel-Cap, and I could
not stand the Infinicaps. Why? My ears, my room,
and the rest of my system said it was better with Hovlands.
If you think you like it now, wait awhile to see if it causes
a certain amount of unwanted fatigue. I don't tolerate
a fatiguing sound well at all, but I'm not saying
you will find it fatiguing the way you have it.
Just be wary, that's all. In the end, it's the overall system
and personal taste that counts.
