Still learning... I'm trying to button up all the pieces before I go farther; didn't realize offset mounting is handled a bit differently. am I modeling this correctly?
Driver is a JBL 2220h. I have drawn a quick schematic of the proposed horn throat and driver mounting.
- driver mounted to a 3/4" baffle, circular cutout matching cone diameter. That sets the Atc at 890, total Vtc is 3350 (cutout plus estimated driver front volume)
- throat chamber/port is 24cm diameter, 3/4" board (Lp=1.8), Ap1 = 450
- distance from driver center to S1 is 12cm (half of above Ap1 diameter).
- S1 height 6.2cm, S2 height 7.05cm
- purple line is signal path, starting at cone center
any and all comments and criticisms welcome!
Back for a bit again. Ignore me if you like.
