Masochists ?

While Altec components are high grade their home speaker line is simply close to junk. Hard to believe the same engineering team was responsible for both. That opinion is based on hearing stock Valencia ( my home ) stock home VOTT and stock Model 16. All representing boombox sound quality with Valencia and Vott being laughably bad.
