Just to be sure, you are talking about a rear back folded horn as neither the pm6a or gold are suited to a front folded horn as they do full range.
The physical size of the drivers are very different so the resulting horn is going to be very different and not suitable for "a driver of the same size" type of recommendations.
I think for most on this board a Lowther is a driver that must fit a listeners preference, is not overly interchangeable with just any hi-eff driver. That makes your request "pm6a or tannoy gold or other same sized..." put many hear on unsure footing on what you are trying to achieve.
So maybe a bit more about your goal and preferences will result in more quality responses
