I have put together a lovely pair of Aristocrats with SP12's, T25's and T35's, and they sound wonderful (using my recapped Eico 2080 integrated amp). My current crossover setup in very minimal: just a first order 6dB filter for the tweeter and bandpass for the mid. I'm rather certain they would be improved by a more sophisticated crossover setup, but I am loathe to purchase the X36 and X8 crossovers, due to the age of the caps in them. Who has recommendations or ideas for appropriate crossovers for these speakers?
