High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

OK, this is very "OT" for the "high-efficiency" asylum but given recent interest in FR/OB combos I thought I'd mention this:

The Magnepan MMG W $227 a pair.
Not so efficient at 88db/5 ohms probably more like 86db/w.
No crossover, single driver, OB format goes down to 100hz. Add a sub of your choice, and a 50W+ solid-state amplifier of high breeding. I'd suggest a balanced gainclone (100W) or one of those big digital amps that have been going around recently -- Nuforce, Flying Mole, etc.
