Now that I know what settings to use on the meter I am going to check again. I suspect my usual listening session would be pretty close to the levels Paul described. I do confess to listening at stupid loud levels on rare occasions, reliving my youth with heavy metal. I donâ€™t do it for long periods.
I get my hearing checked once a year as part of a monitoring program at work. 20 years on construction sites has taken its toll but my hearing has been stable during the 5 years of the program
