Woofer enclosures to use with Altec 811B's

High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

I might be picking up a pair of Altec 811B horns and comp. drivers soon...not quite sure about the woofers yet, but I'll probably be going with 12" Altecs...
Has anyone tried horn-loading these woofers? All that I've seen are either sealed or regular ported alignments, never horns. I was thinking about putting a 12" in a scaled-up Jericho horn or something of the like.
Good idea or not? :)
