which compression driver for my 52cm Tractrix horns

Hello guys,

So, Recently I bought a pair of 52cm Tractrix horns meant to crossover at 500Hz. Now, previously I asked which 2inch compression driver was a good choice. Radian 950, TAD 4002 and JBL 2446 were mentioned. Now, I also can get 1'' and 1.4'' adapters for my horns, which would give me more compression drivers options. I would think that 1'' and 1.4'' drivers have a better etended response, suffering prob. in the low mid.

So, taking into acount that I could use 1'', 1.4'' and 2'' inch driver, crossing at 500Hz (12dB?) which ones are recommendable? E.g. I could now go for Altecs 288 (not so extended) or maybe the 806,808? but also a lot of other drivers like B&C or Beyma are now an option.

Please share your thought and ideas, which driver to use for my horns? 500Hz and extended as much as possible.
