You could certainly get the fp equivalent to the TT fc, as from the same size box you can get the same 14 foot path length either way, what differs is the positive taper of the horn versus the negative taper of the TQWP. The tapered pipe would have a much flatter response curve, but with far less sensitivity. With the power and excursion demands down low I'd rather have the sensitivity.
