It is best to use the exact same speaker for left, center, and right.

And ideally same cabinet size (hieght, width, area).

Yes it will sound a little different than left right because tv behind it and left/right usually closer to a wall than the center.

I don't care if it is a full range driver, 2 way, or huge 3 way, transmission line, etc..........
