I paid $1000 for a mint pair 5 years ago and paid $1200 for another mint pair about a year ago. They are not as expensive as one would think, nor as rare. What people dont realize is that just because something sells for X on Ebay with the help of shills and the "I gotta have it" disease, doesn't mean that is the going price.
