I don't think there are many fans here of these vintage Sansui speakers but I like them. They do have there problems but the crossovers are will engineered, the drivers are good quality and the cabinets are solid. Samsui was the distributor for JBL in Japan and it appears they copied some of the driver technology. I sold Klipsch in the 80's and I agree the Sansui coloration is less disturbing than the Klipsch edgyness. Sansui speakers can be base shy. These speakers are pelntyful and inexpensive. Enjoy!
