I picked up some cheap JPS Labs in-wall wire made of some proprietary, non-ferromagnetic, solid core blended alloy wire, "Alumiloy." I chose it because the outside diameter of the wire matched the hole in the side of my speaker cabinets. Nice, tight fit with no air escaping from the compression chamber (crimped to the drivers). Sounds fine. Can't tell the difference between it or Nordost 2Flat, or Walmart's Yard Master Patio Cord.
