If the cabin is in a nice wooded area and has a fire pit I would sugest a reasonable pair of outdoor speakers properly positioned on available trees. A wooded environment provides some of the best acoustics and make even cheap speakers sound great!! In this case the Fostex line would most likly fail because the great outdoors needs more power and Xmax.
Maybe try the Yorkville 8"\horn outdoortypes for about 250.00 pr. If you plan it right add a 150.00 Parts Express 12" subwoofer. Get a vintage 70s reciever, Kenwood, Pioneer, Yamaha, etc.
