Hi folks,
just trying to pick some brains here.
Family is building a new cabin way up northern NH and we are going to
need a very simple and cheap system.
So my thoughts lean to a t-amp and a pair of Fostex FE166E's in a bass reflex enclosure.
This will replace the 20 yr old magnavox boombox which as you can imagine
does not provide much in the way sound fidelity.
Placement will of course be in the worst possible place, on shelf 6" from wall and simple is the key as my mother-in-law is a complete technophobe (the ipod we got her has been used about twice- once by her, once by me for sound fx for her high school musical!) so a reboxed t-amp with on/off vol control will be enough.
So if anyone has any thoughts I'd love to hear them!
Thanks,
Seamus.

- FE-167E or FE-207E will probably work better in a BR - mhardy6647 18:24:16 08/06/07 (0)
