The EZ version is the upgrade from the original. It uses a unique geometry on the driver surface and has no whizzer. :)

This is a good driver and Terry used it on his stuff. You will need a notch filter to tame the 1.2-1.5K peak. As mentioned, you may wish to use a tweeter with them... I like a sub too.
