might have some difficulty with many folks here since its likely they haven't been able to entertain all these variants of speaker. If they have, they're likely to be at least in their mid-50s as I am. Please don't let this dampen your enthusiasm, however.
Frankly, I wasn't that impressed with the biflex arrangement and I sold Altec stuff back in the 70s. Don't get me wrong, its a nice concept but speakers like the Santana really weren't that impressive. Now, talk about a Stonehenge III and you've got my attention.
I'd suggest you post at a couple of the Altec-oriented sites at Great Plains Audio or with the Lansing Heritage folks. I'll see you there, too.
