Has anyone successfully removed a glued down paper Tannoy woffer cone?

I have a pair of damaged Tannoy Monitor Blacks. The paper surrounds are glued to the frames. I would like to remove the cones, repair them, and reinstall them. Any suggestions on how to release the glue on the edge?
