About that mod

Did you hear harshness before the mod? Why are you getting such good results and I seem to be the only guy left struggling?

Okay, is it safe for me to take that thing apart or do I have to be real careful? I don't hear nasal effects, I just hear what sounds like it's clipping the heck out of the driver, flapping in the breeze. Do I need a brick wall filter to keep the driver loaded by the horn?

BTW, when it's hot in the room, the harshness shows up at lower volume levels than when it's cool. Like the suspension loosens up and lets it slam to the rails easier when warm.

I have the 8 ohm version, by the way.
