Are there significant differences among the cone assemblies of Altec 515 family woofers?

Wow, I never knew there were this many different kinds of Altec "515" woofers:

515B
515C
515E
515-8G
515-16G
515-16GHP
515-8LF
515-8LFE
515-8GHP

Obviously some of these are 8-ohm and some are 16-ohm, but other than the voice coil impedances, are there significant differences among the cone assemblies for these woofers? Can they be used interchangeably in reconing or are recone kits with different specifications required for each? THANKS!
