Maybe this isn't the best match, and of course the LS3/5As aren't high efficiency speakers (quite the opposite: they are 83 db, 15ohm)-- but for some reason my BYOB and these speakers go great together, at least in my office space, played at low to medium volume.
I'm not sure what this means in the overall scheme of things, or in answer to your question, but it did surprise me a little bit.
