I own 12" Reds and if you talk to Sebastian Aleman at the Yahoogroups Tannoy forum, he'll introduce you to a friend ( Adrian ) who makes a high quality replacement crossover for the 12" Reds
These are head and shoulders better a crossover than Stock, and hardwire directly to the speaker ( completely reversible ) that does away with the *awful* Tannoy 4-pin setup and the *doubly awful* original crossovers
You can either throw your original crossovers into a box for storage or do what I did; cash out of them, and use the superior replacements, which cost way less and sound *wonderful*Grins
