Just got back from the NY Home Entertainment show

I finally got a chance to hear the ZU Druid, after all the positive and negative talk about them. Well they had it hooked up to a 2a3 PP putting out about 12 watts.

Let me tell you they are a nice sounding speaker. Smooth defined bass with great midrange and nice high end. I had been listening to speakers all day from Omega, Vandersteen, Wilson and some other $45,000 speaker and these held their own.

Now the omega, I was not impressed at all.

Then I come home and listen to my home made Fostex 166 horn and relaze what I have. Not as open as the Zu. But with my Fi 2a3 I'm very happy. I would love to hear the Zu in my system.

I was suprised with all the vinyl at the show.
