That was a mighty fine meeting for sure! The Bruce Edgar/Sam Saye collaboration has resulted in an excellent sounding full-on field coil front loaded horn system... yes! Stan Ricker brought some of his recent jazz recordings and they were just tremendous on this system. After a sixty year breather, field coil technology is on the march again.Bruce and Sam gave an interesting talk on the evolution of the drivers, horns, and system over the past couple of years. These guys have been working hard, and it has paid off handsomely.
Like you eso, I was lost in speaker geek conversations most of the time. Some really interesting people show up at these Edgarhorn Groupie meetings. Many thanks to Dr. Edgar and Sam Saye for assembling the marvelous system and organizing the meeting, and to Sang Kim for hosting the event.
