You have everything you need. If you don't like the sound, you either have problems upstream or have burnt the tweets out from too much current. Besides, you have to open the backs of the drivers to disconnect the supertweeter....not a good idea.

Otherwise I would guess you have simply spent too much time listening and acclimating yourself to shrill 'High End Audio' crap. :(

If neither of these is the fact, you need to change to compression driver horns. I heard a nice little Onken type system, using a 250hz horn with modified BMS co-axial niodymium driver and 15" BR. This is a good introduction to horns, and could be a nice next step. However, PHY still does some things better, and I would hang onto them. :)

To REALLY upgrade, you must be prepared to spend quite a lot of $.
