Just in my opinion.If theyd read floyd Toole from harman,they wouldve found that having a modular sub that can couple to room modes in a more linear fashion pretty much dooms their efforts.
Infact if theyd read anything regarding panel resonance and standing waves they wouldnt be using such large enclosures coupled together IMAO.
Seperate rigid MDF subwoofer <100hz.
Then smaller horns of whatever flavour.without any nice panel resonances transmitted from the neighbouring bass driver.A much better proposition. Add a mammoth sub for 125dB SPL at 10hz;
