Hoping someone here can help me with this-
Looking up pages on the web, I have found many times the statement that a 4 pole Linwitz-Riley filter is made by putting two 2nd order Butterworth filters in series, yet the online calculators I've found all come up with values of L and C that differ from first to second half of the filter. I've been looking for the theory behind this but haven't had luck finding anything I can understand (ie. that's not given in purely mathematical terms). Can somebody bring me up to speed on this ?
Thank you!
