JBL L 300 vs. Klipschorns

High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has heard BOTH these speakers as to what differences one could expect in sound quality. I listen to a lot of opera, so accurate uncolored reproduction of voices is of great importance to me.
I assume both sound big and open and probably sound better with tube than solid state amplification.
Any comments/comparisons would be greatly appreciated.
