I have a pair that i used to use in an open baffle in combination
with a 285GMF on the bottom(Now i am using an altec 902-8b with a fostex labratory horn).They sound great and natural in the mid-range.The top is a bit rolled off above 10k but good enough untill you try to add a super tweeter.I can not comment on the lower range off these as i have not tried them in any apropriate enclousure for them to produce any bass.Should be ok if you put them in a tqwt.Probably better to put them in a small Br and add a sub on the bottom.
