Dipole bass in one room compared with monopole bass in another room would not be a fair comparison.Parametricially equalized monople woofers are the only match for dipole woofers in most rooms.
I don't agree that corners are the best locations for woofers, even if the subwoofers are parametrically equalized, because subwoofers integrate best with the main speakers when they are placed close to the main speakers.
Main speakers are not usually located close to room corners ... and if they are close, perhaps all the spakers would sound better if moved further from the corners?
