Re: azura with klipsch horn is not a oris system

John ,yes you're right it's not the same . I think that it should actually be better in most regards as bass horn should be better than BR with SS plate amp crossed ~200Hz and Azura horns are said to be more open sounding than ORIS. I remember that you ended up using array of ORIS horns to get them integrated with tweeter. The problem I have with my setup is poor mid-bass (mushy and ill defined) and that was the same feeling listening to the Oris , tweeter implementation ,(I have no skill probably ) time alignment -tricky with Oris and impossible with Klipshorn .I know that every speaker is a set of compromises but this one is a dead end for me .Sorry, did not want to step on your foot . I do like AN and I like it only because their system on every audition sounded much more coherent & musical than any horn based system I heard . Which to me is a proof that to build a system around horns is much more involving a requires much more care than with conventional speaker. True that better AN cost arm & leg but they know how to hook up everything together for musical enjoyment and most horn makers just connect whatever is available . If this forum is only about "I rub your back , so you will rub my " what's the purpose?
Peter , I'm sorry I admit that I'm of the subject if Orphean system is compression driver based. I have nothing against Bert . I met him and he is a nice modest guy quite critical and honest about his work . I will watch my tongue in the future. Regards to all.
