I'm well aware of that.The C 2500 replaced the C 2300 Tube Pre. I have the C 2600.
I was referring to the C46 that you mention here. My, four preamps since 2013!
Don't know about opamps.
Sure you do as the C46 used 25(!) of them. I can fully understand your reaction when it was replaced:
"So much better it's ridiculous!"
They recently added a tube phono preamp and perhaps one day will also add a DAC with a tube analog output stage. You might have the same reaction again. ;)
