thanks. I like my theta for redbook, so I really am looking for just an sacd player. i'm wondering if mods or maybe a another medium budget player would get rid of the lack of midrange clarity i feel the pioneer is weak in. ironically, i bought the sony for sacd but it looked better than my previous dvd player so there is stayed. The things is that I am interested in sacds but i have nearly 10,000 lp's. I doubt i'm going to get into sacd that heavy (or would find the music I wanted).
