Excellent post. I think you properly reviewed BCH with respect to songwriting especially. One must enjoy acoustic country folk blues in the first place in order to embrace what Jorma has done with BCH. I like it a lot, and a little better than the latest "Stars in My Crown".Regarding Jorma's vocal, like many artists I enjoy, I develop an affection for the artist's voice based on how the songs move me (Dylan and Neil Young come to mind). Different people are moved by different songwriting, and the acceptance of the vocal often goes hand-in-hand.
