Elton John GBYBR SACD vs MOFI version...??

New high resolution SACD releases, players and technology.

After reading some old posts, it seems that there was a split crowd regarding the sound quality of the SACD verion. Some highly approved and others disapproved due to severe brightness. I read through most of the notes and links regarding the differences btwn the MC and Stereo cuts and it appear that folks were saying that Stereo cut was a bit more fatiguing. Did we ever land anywhere firmly on the sonics and sound quality of this disc? I'd like to pick it up from BB before it's gone. I currently own the MOFI version but have not yet opened it. Any final thoughts?
