flip the filter switch at the back [turn unit of first] noise [fault] usually there if on custom but no noise on normal. restart on normal, if noise gone then it is one of the ribons not making a perfect conections, reconect all your conections and try again with the filter switched to custom.Reconect all your ribons etc even if the above does not aply, I have found common losses or noises in SACD but not cd are due to the ribons.
