Here are some that float my boat:Classical Native DSD:
Tchaikovsky Suite No. 3/Stravinsky Divertimento, Jurowski cond., Pentatone Classics 5186 061
Stravinsky L'Histoire du soldat/Ragtime/Concerto in Eb/etc., P. Jarvi cond., Pentatone Classics 5186 046
(The two best sonic examples I've heard of DSD-mastered classical SACD's)
Classical Analog Reissues:
Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue/Concerto in F/I Got Rhythm Variations, Fiedler cond., Wild, p., RCA Living Stereo 82876-61393-2
Brahms Symphony No. 4, Walter cond., Sony Classical (Columbia) SS 6113
Bernstein Conducts Bernstein (particularly "On the Waterfront" Suite), Bernstein cond., Sony Classical SS 89043
Suppe Overtures/Auber, Paray cond., Mercury Living Presence 470 638-2
Bartok, Concerto for Orchestra, etc., Reiner cond., RCA Living Stereo 82876-61390-2
Jazz Analog Reissue:
Thelonious Monk, 5 by Monk by 5, Analogue Productions CAPJ 1150 SA
While many RCA Living Stereo releases are high on my list, there are some to be wary of--a very bright-sounding Respighi by Reiner (coupled with Debussy), and unfortunately muffled readings of Debussy and Ibert coupled with the great-sounding Saint Saens Symphony No. 3 ("Organ").
