It sounds GREAT on RB cd's. I am not as impressed with the 8001 on SACD's. It sounds like the 8260 on SACD's but the 8001 sounds much better than the 8260 on CD's. Much clearer, crisper sound, just higher rez sounding. Another one of those veil things, another slightly dirty pane of glass has been removed from the sound view.
