It appears that my earlier Japanese Sony SACD releases (which seem still to be available) were under the SMJI imprint, and the new ones are on the SME imprint.No relation? Separate labels in some sense? Entirely different re-mastering chains? Different divisions in the massive Sony conglomerate?
I guess the ones people are now raving about (even more expensive) are all SME.
