As my moniker implies, I too am quite into 2 wheeled devices. I consider your choice of motorcycles proof of your ignorance. My friends and I , all of whom have been long time BMW owners, consider the 1100 / 1150 oilheads to be turds of bikes.
You want to impress us with dollar versus performance, tell us about your GSXR or R1/6 or CBR etc. You bought a heavy, non responsive over engineered bike that sells by advertising. It's not even particularly reliable (go to the oil head boards on the web, Q.E.D.)
So, I'm not impressed, at all. If a $6 K CD player brings years of joy to a person, and they could afford it, then it's all GOOD!
I have a $4.5 K cdp, which is more than I thought I would ever spend, but it has given me so much pleasure. In fact, I'm listening to, and enjoying it right now, because the BMW rally that my mates and I were packing up to go to is getting 4-6" of rain in the next 36 hours. Thank you Ernesto!
