One of the two BIS Grieg discs I ordered was listed in their system as an SACD, but the other was not. (This info was not in their catalog, nor on their website; I called customer service and asked.) Since it was my belief that BIS released these two discs (Piano Concerto/In Autumn and Norwegian Dances/Lyric Suite) as Hybrids only, I figured it was a safe bet that these were both SACDs.It turns out that the discs (both marked with the SACD logo) were produced under license of BIS by the Musical Heritage Society. While they had wonderful sound for redbook, they contained no SACD layer. I liked the music well enough to return them in favor of the true SACDs, which I bought at a low price from CD Universe.
I've not seen anything else that suggests that there are any SACDs in MHS' offering, but I was satisfied with their handling of the situation.
Cut people some slack when they make mistakes, and treat them with respect and courtesy, and it's rare that the favor is not returned. You'll get your desired result more often, as well.
