What is this resonance? I mean, what does it sound like?
I have a new SA-11, and as people have written previously, the drive is noisy - not as much as a computer, but similar. Is this what you hear?
I did not like the sound in either format, and was going to sell it.
Instead I dumped more money into it (go figure?) with RAM"s full boat mods, and it is simply great in both formats. Finally, a machine (that I can afford) that is GREAT in SACD, and equals my Moon supernova in RBCD. All of the filtering options add another dimension to this machine, and it looks killer (it's in my living room).I'm working on a review, but every time I start, it gets longer and longer.....
