i own and continue to use an SCD-333 ES in my office system, and i owned a DV-50 for about a year at home and the DV-50 is the better-sounding machine to my ears.and they are unbelievably reliable. the 333 is really good, but the Esoteric sounds better to me, does more, and has the 3 filter options, which i love.
i miss my Esoteric a lot and were it not for me discovering the Opus 21 and then the EMM Labs gear, i'd still be using it.
