I own the Modwright 9000ES, and I can tell you that there is no noise emanating from this fine machine. Very silent. Just a word of advice (or two). Stay away from the silver umbilical (use a Jena Labs cryo'ed copper umbilical), and experiment with better tubes than the Tung Sol 5687. You won't be sorry.
