I wouldn't even touch that player unless the MACE and Furore chips have been replaced (parts no longer available). Those with experience (Alex Peychev) suggest that the last batch of replacement chips that Phillips produced were OK. Do a search for SACD 1000 on the forum and watch the tears flow.
