I bought an earlier classical package from Linn, not SACD though, and was disappointed with most of the discs. The Linn sound seems rather thin to me, fairly bright with little bass or lower midrange. Maybe this is a more European sound. The detail and sound stage is good, but I can't live with the thin sound. I much prefer Channel or Telarc sound.
Also, the artists on Linn are good but not great, to my thinking.
